Make sure it is small enough to fit on the lightbar template with room on all sides. Using some scotch tape, tape down your photo or text to your vinyl. Being very careful and patient, use your exacto knife to cut out the design.
Start from the inside and work your way out. Take breaks if you need to. Make sure you are pressing hard enough to pierce through both the printer paper and the vinyl. Now you will tape down the light bar template. After taping the template, again watching for air gaps, carefully cut around the edges.
