Actually, I wanted to ask, if I just download the Enhanced one without uninstalling the original, does it still take up 19GB like it says it will, or only around 7GB and still use those same 12GB from the original?
It is a separate game, so it will take up the full space. It doesn't use files from the "old" Borderlands 1 installation. I see, so it would be best to uninstall the old one first then.

The original release of the Game of the Year Edition comes with an access code to download the dlc, but newer versions come with it on the disc installable from an icon on the xmb. If you're able to buy from a place that has an opened new copy, check the instructions as the one with the dlc on the disc will have a section on how to install from the xmb.
